Job Description
Stepan Company is seeking a Global Marketing Communications Manager to join our Customer Experience & Growth Team in Northbrook, Illinois. You will provide strategic direction and oversee all of marketing communications, including promotional campaigns, advertisements, trade events, social media, and branding.
Key Responsibilities:
· Responsible for leading a team of Corporate as well as regional marketing communication specialists.
· Develop and execute on Stepan’s global marketing communications strategy and promotional plans aligned to Stepan’s business growth goals.
· Set direction on global marketing campaigns including email marketing, creation of landing pages, brochures, and more.
· Track, analyze, and evaluate marketing performance. Present on marketing analytics and insights to key leaders.
· Manage Stepan’s corporate website, including experience management, content direction, user interface, website editor training and translation services. Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) research to inform ongoing website investment strategy and enhancements.
· Oversee Stepan’s social media channel, content, and engagement strategy.
· Manage a Marketing Communications budget, key vendor relationships and contracts.
· Ensure brand guidelines are up-to-date and lead periodic brand health assessment.
Work Schedule:
· This is a hybrid role seeking both time in the office and allowing for flexibility outside the office on select days.
Qualifications
· Proven 7 – 10 years’ experience in marketing communications
· Salesforce experience, Pardot marketing automation, a plus
· Adobe Experience Manager experience, a plus
· Strong copywriting and editing skills
Education
· Bachelor’s Degree required in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field
· Master’s Degree, preferred
