Senior Production Planner

Job Description

  • Utilize established processes and procedures, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services to internal and external customers
  • Function as a key member of platform and business teams providing supply chain expertise while facilitating effective communication between sales/marketing, manufacturing, account services and purchasing
  • Accurately maintain production schedules in SAP, while maintaining appropriate SAP master data
  • Effectively utilize supply chain planning procedures, processes, analytics, metrics and standards that ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to customers
  • Utilize financial and business analytics, metrics & models for tracking and optimizing the planning network considering the total cost of ownership
  • Utilize weekly and monthly performance metrics including key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive performance improvement
  • Meet the needs of the customer while supporting department and company financial goals and objectives
  • Optimize supply network for areas of responsibility through effective utilization of supply chain tools and best practices
  • Optimize supply chain network assets including plant infrastructure through effective use of SAP and collaboration with the commercial organization and other supply chain organizations
  • Participate in monthly demand management and supply meetings
  • Drive utilization of SAP to support company operations and meet customer expectations

  • Develop SAP skills to participate in IT infrastructure opportunities to support company planning operations
  • Partner with members of Supply Chain and others to proactively address network optimization opportunities, drive process improvements and ensure best in class practices
  • Provide training and drive optimization of SAP as it relates to Supply Chain Planning


  • 1-3 years Supply Chain experience required
  • 3-5 years Supply Chain experience preferred
  • SAP experience required
  • APICS CPIM experience preferred



  • Bachelors Degree required
