Senior Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sr. HRBP to support our Winder, GA, Columbus, GA, Wilmington, NC and Lake Providence, LA Manufacturing facilities. The positino will be based in Winder, GA. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and will be responsible for performing HR-related duties that have a high focus on Employee Relations. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides guidance, coaching and council to supervisors and managers on Human Resource related issues such as organizational change, optimization, change management, succession planning, team building, and realignment
  • Responsible for recruitment activities for full-time exempt positions, including but not limited to: Partners with management in the development and revision of job descriptions, leads compensation review process, interviewing, provides expertise on required training for roles and responsibility changes
  • Responsible for overseeing disciplinary process including attendance and performance
  • Supports and assists with EEOC and other agency issues
  • Activates and leads delivery of annual HR processes to managers and employees, including but not limited to an annual talent review, engagement/climate survey, and performance management processes
  • Supports and participates in the activation of revisions and enhancements to annual HR processes
  • Leads hourly performance management, including investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations
  • Drives and owns talent strategies for teams
  • Supports the proliferation of Talent Management mindset throughout the organization
  • Provides direct coaching and counsel to supervisors and managers on talent strategies, priorities, and succession plans
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Maintains open communication and functional working relationships with management and employees
  • Leads and participates on assigned project teams, committees, and meetings


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR
  • Experience with HRIS, Microsoft Office and database management
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism, and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Competent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Efficient time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Manufacturing site experience, Chemical Manufacturing preferred


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred in Human Resource Management
