Maintenance Planner

Job Description

•    Provides maintenance planning and scheduling to ensure Anaheim’s maintenance KPI targets are achieved through safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities
•    Helps develop and sustain critical spare parts inventory for the Anaheim site and ensures critical stores items are monitored and maintained
•    Verifying safe work permits, and ensuring assigned maintenance activities are complete and confirmed in SAP
•    Promotes an environment that achieves incident free performance through diligent proactive safety efforts and job safety scheduling
•    Manages Maintenance Technician’s time and schedule in accordance with the Union contract
•    Coordinates the planning and scheduling of all PM work with Operations, onsite technicians, outside services, etc. 
•    Coordinates additional labor and materials needed to complete any in-progress work (additional tasks added while work is in progress)
•    Actively manages the work order backlog as prioritized by Operations and Engineer ensuring that work orders are being properly reviewed, prioritized, and completed
•    Updates/Creates any Work Orders as needed, updates actual job requirements and labor estimates with feedback from mechanics
•    Responsible for all aspects of SAP Maintenance including updating or preparing PM's, task list, DIR's BOM's, and that costs flow to the correct Functional Location in the system
•    Reviews daily priorities and properly communicates plant issues
•    Initiates corrective action work requests and follow-up action, when necessary, as a result of maintenance inspections, PMs, or other observed issues
•    Identifies and review Job Tasks, Permits, Special tools and Equipment, Skill requirements and Materials needed for the work
•    Works with procurement to secure all non-stock materials through warehouse or direct purchase; verifies inventoried parts are on hand before scheduling routine work

Qualifications


•    5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Planner at a chemical manufacturing and/or oil refinery facility preferred
•    Certification as required by craft (Maintenance Trade School) preferred 
•    Proficient in using Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
•    Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, SAP preferred
 

Education

•    High School Diploma or equivalent
•    Certification as required by craft (Maintenance Trade School and or Degree) preferred
•    Base Salary: min: $81,985- max: $138,945
