Job Description

The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Coordinator is to be accountable for coordinating and prioritizing work order requests by assessing and communicating production priorities and scheduled work to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of plant assets. The Maintenance Coordinator serves as a liaison between production and maintenance to develop and adhere to the maintenance forecast by prioritizing routine and non-routine activities to meet company and site goals.

  • Serves as a liaison between assigned Production Unit(s), Maintenance, Contractors, and Capital / Engineering teams to support development of the maintenance forecast plan.
  • Collaborates with maintenance planners / schedulers to ensure assets are available per agreed upon schedules and drives accountability in proper work order completion standards.
  • Supports weekly and daily needs of the production unit(s) while balancing asset integrity and optimization needs. Manages the day-to-day work execution processes for routine, emergency, break-in, and shutdown work.
  • Converts Work Notifications into Work Orders and assigns priority according to criticality.  Works collaboratively with maintenance to minimize production downtime.
  • Evaluates E&U requests to ensure standard criteria for emergency work is met and that request should proceed for planning or execution / be assigned.
  • Conducts routine backlog reviews with functional maintenance partners and assists schedulers in maintaining a healthy and accurate backlog to ensure highest priority work is planned first as appropriate to site needs and asset integrity.
  • Assesses accuracy / completeness of requests (to include accurate problem description, asset, and location, contact person and estimated priority, etc. Provides corrective feedback to parties on inaccurate and/or incomplete data requirements.
  • Supports site reliability program / plans to ensure an appropriate amount of preventative maintenance vs. corrective work as directed by M&I / Reliability team.  Ensures production unit support of on-time infrastructure project work.  Participates in RCFA analysis and corrective actions.
  • Participate and maintain compliance related activities including internal and external audits for applicable standards and certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, EFfCI, FSSC 22000, Kosher, Halal, RSPO, ISCC+ and others.
     

Qualifications

  • Technical/Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a Technical/Associates degree or minimum of 7 years of experience with a Technical/Associates degree.
  • Working knowledge of reliability standards and management of critical process equipment to include equipment functioning in production process.
  • Ability to leverage CMMS to extract information necessary to draw work order prioritization conclusions and ability to develop and optimize production and maintenance plans in CMMS.
