Job Description
The Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Planner develops and manages E&I maintenance work packages for corrective repairs, preventive maintenance, and equipment modifications. Define job scopes, purchase materials, coordinate outages/upgrades, and provide technical recommendations to support reliable plant operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed work packages by identifying required procedures, drawings, equipment, materials, and supporting documentation.
- Review, revise, and develop E&I maintenance procedures to support field execution activities
- Participate in scheduling, risk reviews, troubleshooting, operating experience reviews, peer reviews, and system interaction evaluations.
- Provide technical support for Electrical outages, departmental coverage, or callouts.
- Support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations for electrical and instrumentation equipment failures, identify corrective actions, and recommend reliability improvements.
- Manage E&I maintenance backlog.
- Identify opportunities to improve electrical and instrumentation system reliability, increase equipment uptime, and reduce maintenance costs.
- Support continuous improvement, asset reliability, and maintenance excellence initiatives across the site.
- Assist project teams with instrumentation scope development and equipment standardization to improve reliability and serviceability.
Qualifications
- Preferred proficiency in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Module.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, leadership, and team-building abilities.
- Understanding of mechanical and instrument process equipment and precision maintenance practices.
- Able to read P&ID and equipment files.
- Understanding of AC/DC power systems, installation and maintenance practices for industrial electrical and instrumentation equipment, SCADA, PLC Components and Communications protocols.
Education
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Electrical or Instrumentation maintenance, planning, scheduling, or leadership roles in an industrial environment, or an equivalent combination of technical education and related experience.
Pay Range: $86,000 - $133,000
The salary range for this position is determined by considering a variety of factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and the location of the position.
