Account Payable Supervisor

Job Description
The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor will provide support in leading and managing all corporate accounts payable activities to ensure transactions are processed timely, accurately, and in compliance with established controls and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide support and lead in managing the full-cycle AP processes, including but not limited to, managing and approving invoices, confirm and reconcile accurate 3-way match, accurate coding of expenses, reconciling vendor accounts and payments, identifying and resolving discrepancies and issues, preparing timely and accurate disbursements, overseeing expense reimbursement process, and executing timely and accurate period end close process in compliance with established controls
• Supervise corporate AP team
• Support and implement ongoing process and system improvements and internal control enhancements, specifically within SAP ECC, focused on automation, internal controls, and safeguarding of the Company assets
• Serve as SAP ECC AP subject matter expert acting as the primary point of contact for all AP-related issues
• Perform monthly audits and account analyses
• Provide training on the Company’s policies and procedures to internal and external customers
• Provide support for internal and external audits and other ad hoc requests for areas of responsibility
• Support Company sponsored projects as needed
Qualifications
• Five years of full cycle AP experience - Large global manufacturing organization preferred
• Three years of detailed hands-on AP management experience
• SAP ECC AP experience is required
• SAP Ariba experience is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Strong organizational skills required
• General accounting and internal control knowledge is required
• Ability to take initiative, prioritize and problem solve issues
• Energetic, strong work ethic, resilient, collaborative, ability to juggle multiple projects at once and personally committed to achieving success
• Attention to detail and continuous process improvement mindset
• Ability to determine escalation requirements and ensure key issues are put in front of management/key stakeholders with recommendations for resolution
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required
