Capability Analyst - Product Supply

Job Description

Stepan is hiring a Capability Analyst for our Northbrook office.
Key responsibilities:

  • Capability Management Process and Procedures
  • Conduct capability analytics as part of opportunity management within day to day business activities, S&OP and strategic planning processes.
  • Partner across the commercial and supply chain organizations to gather and provide feedback regarding supply chain’s capability to support growth.
  • Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Gather, cleanse, and analyze data in accordance with best practices and company standards.
  • Reporting may range from Salesforce to SAP to downstream analytics presented using visualization tools.
  • Evaluate, develop, and roll out capability summarization and confirmation processes for opportunity managment between the commercial and supply chain organizations including integration into S&OP processes.
  • Educate users about the use of developed tools and methods used in reports and analytics.
  • Work with users to understand, mock up, and iteratively develop new methods.
  • Solicit feedback from users and continuously improve methods. Technology
  • Use Salesforce, SAP and other software skills to contribute to monthly and annual planning processes and understand downstream impacts of those processes
  • Assist in Capability Management technology implementation and process development
  • Understand and manage master data and teach others its importance and impact.

Qualifications

  • 3 years experience required, 7+ years preferred
  • Supply Chain or Sales experience required
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other analytics software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to communicate effectively and build relationships with representatives of partner organizations

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required

 

Pay Range: $75,000 - $98,000
The salary range for this position is determined by considering a variety of factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and the location of the position.
