Job Description
The SAP Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery, supporting and ongoing evolution of the SAP ERP platform for our organization. Key responsibilities of this role will include eliciting business needs, performing detailed analysis and documentation, modeling processes, evaluating impacts, prioritizing business requests, and partnering with the project teams.
Job Duties
- Assess as-is processes and map them into new processes and/or business flows, leveraging SAP best practices.
- Work closely with business teams, system integrators and stakeholders to understand needs, identify options for and recommend optimal solutions to optimize business processes.
- Develop expertise and serve as an SME for process and data discussions, workshops and analysis related to Order to Cash (O2C) / Sales and Distribution (SD) / Logistics (LOG) / Warehouse Management (WM) processes.
- Produce high-quality documentation, including but not limited to current-state analysis, future-state processes, workflows, data mapping, decision matrices, use cases, testing scenarios and full business requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and business partners during project planning, software delivery reviews, and testing to ensure the software has been implemented according to specifications.
- Document “business problem” to be solved and complete current state analysis and lead requirements gathering exercise through discovery sessions.
- Provide advice, troubleshooting and guidance for end user support; Identify areas for Automation of manual processes and data analytics reporting.
- Conduct meetings and deliver presentations; gather critical information to produce useful reports.
- Monitor deliverables and support the timely completion of projects.
- Serve as backup to other team members to backfill during peak periods, PTO, etc.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 4+ years in SAP, focusing on O2C, SD, LOG, WM modules
- Full lifecycle SAP implementations, preferably in the chemical industry
- Integration experience with MM, WM, PP, EHS, FI/CO, QM
- SAP-Salesforce integration and dataflow into Microsoft Fabric for analytics
- Interface tools: IDOCs, EDI, Ariba, Mulesoft
- Tools: LSMW, SAP Query, RICEF, ServiceNow
Skills:
- Strong process flow analysis and documentation
- Expertise in master data, pricing, batch determination, VAT handling
- SD output handling (Order, Delivery, Invoice, COA)
- Foreign country/language SAP knowledge
- Automation and reporting insights

Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, Engineering, Business or another related field.

Pay Range: $85,000 - $110,000
The salary range for this position is determined by considering a variety of factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and the location of the position.
