Job Description
We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Engineering Manager to work in our Pasadena Manufacturing facility in Pasadena, TX, reporting to the Plant Manager. This position will provide leadership to the maintenance, reliability and engineering functions. They will improve maintenance work execution effectiveness and ensure compliance with Process Safety Management Mechanical Integrity requirements.
The candidate will have the great opportunity to be part of a new plant design, build and start-up!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead incident free performance through diligent safety efforts and job safety planning
- Provide planning and direction for the maintenance organization to improve, maintain and repair facilities and equipment to ensure optimal reliability and lowest life cycle cost.
- Establish long-term maintenance and reliability strategies and improvement plans.
- Lead the preventative and predictive maintenance programs
- Establish maintenance and storeroom performance metrics
- Manage small site capital projects, plant maintenance budget and associated spending.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in chemical, oil & gas industry experience
- Minimum 5 years maintenance and reliability experience
- Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards (e.g. ASME, API, etc.)
- Highly developed communication skills – both written and verbal
- Effective problem solving, troubleshooting and organizational skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required
