Responsibilities:
- Maintaining company networks including VPNs, routers, firewalls and other physical hardware
- Create and maintain documentation of all network components
- Installing and configuring network equipment
- Install, configure and maintaining firewalls to keep data and communications protected
- Monitoring of all network components and traffic to improve network performance
- Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating networking issues to other employees and management
- Working with the infrastructure team on disaster recovery procedures and tests
- Maintaining current knowledge and understanding of security and networking best practices to offer the best solutions and protection to company systems
- Work with 3rd party providers, system integrators and contractors to make appropriate network changes Perform wireless surveys and predictive analysis using Ekahau
- Participate in network upgrade projects including Fiber, UPS, point to point, switch, AP and all other network equipment/software
- Utilize Aruba central, Panorama, Velocloud Orchestrator, Paloalto management software to manage networks
- Work with the infrastructure and security teams to analyze potential cyber security attacks
- Work with OT/PCN team to insure network security and integration to the IT network
- Maintain/troubleshoot ISP connections and upgrade as needed
- Perform firmware upgrades on network equipment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of networking experience
- PCN – Process Control Network experience a plus [Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Data Historians and Switches]
- OT – Operational Technology support experience a plus [Industrial Control Systems (ICS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)]
