Operations T&D Instructional Designer

Job Description
• Works with Operations Leadership to identify & analyze training needs and skills gaps
• Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts, instructional design theory, and measurement and evaluation methods
• Partners with SMEs and uses instructional design methodology to design and develop effective learning content i.e., eLearning in SuccessFactors, documents, knowledge libraries/databases, user guides, OJT job aids, curricula, etc.
• Manages & maintains the Manufacturing Training Hub SharePoint site (knowledge database) and keeps content up-to-date and relevant
• Updates and revises training content across platforms, as needed
• Supports the needs assessment for training to ensure employee performance achieves business and functional objectives
• Evaluates the effectiveness of training content through periodic audits and feedback, analyzes results, and implements improvements
Qualifications
• 1-3 years’ experience in instructional design or related position
• Ability to analyze and logically organize complex information into instructionally sound training material that engages learners
• Demonstrated deep understanding of adult learning principles and application through learning solutions
• Knowledge of instructional design theories and pedagogies and experience translating those into real‐world course materials
• Proven ability to develop learning programs across all modalities including eLearning, on-the-job, instructor-led, virtual training, in-classroom workshops, etc.
• Experience in building learning materials to support knowledge transfer and/or performance improvement
• Experience in training program documentation and records management
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Education, Training, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field
Pay Range: $64,000 - $92,000
The salary range for this position is determined by considering a variety of factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and the location of the position.
