Job Description
As part of our long-term corporate strategy and growth, we are looking for a Quality Manager holding responsibility for two manufacturing sites, located in Vlissingen (NL) and Wesseling (GE).
Responsibilities at both sites:
- Owner and safe operation of QC laboratories; according to Company standards & test methods.
- Supervision, development and support of QC teams.
- Owner of Management Systems and certifications with support from site EH&S Managers (ISO 9001).
- Liaison with Regional and Corporate QA for key initiatives and projects.
- Control the quality of manufactured goods (compliance to specification/integrity).
- Proper application of Management of Change for (product) quality.
- Investigation non-conformities by Root Cause Analysis; timely closure of corrective action plans.
- Facilitation of (new) product development on site raw material qualifications & analytical methods.
- Cost control according to budget, propose yearly budgets and capital plans.
- SAP Super User to support continuity of operations.
- Owner of Document Management System.
- Plan and execution of internal audits.
Qualifications
Skills and experience:
- Professional experience in QA and/or QC in the chemical industry or similar environment.
- Experience in supervising of teams; be a go-to-person.
- A high level of safety, environmental, and quality awareness is required, as well as a productive mindset, flexibility and sense of responsibility.
- Experience in handling of ERP systems (ideally SAP) as well as knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong analytical and continuous improvement skills, a systemic approach.
- Result-orientated, committed, perseverance and hands-on/can-do mentality.
- Good social and communication skills , a team player and a self-starter.
- Structured and organised, independent and self-responsible way of working.
Travel on average one week or more per month is part of the role.
Education
Education:

- Qualified in a degree of Chemical/Laboratory education.
- Excellent in Dutch, German and English, both spoken and written.
