Job Description

Within the Finance Department Europe, reporting to the Business Controller, you will support the European Business Units by bringing your expertise and experience in management control and industrial continuous improvement:

 

 Your missions will be:

 

  • In-depth analysis of the Supply chain, Manufacturing and Engineering performances
  • Monthly Analysis of variances and actively participating in recommendations for industrial improvement
  • Financial Analysis of Manufacturing Performances per Industrial Units and by Products
  • Support to Medium and Long-Term plans, expense budgets and forecasts
  • Inventory control performance metrics
  • Promote Cost Control Culture across Stepan & support projects’ cost tracking to improve process efficiency, reduce waste and optimize cost savings
  • Development, maintenance and update to Financial Analysis I/T Tools (use and reliability)

 

Experience & Education

We are looking for a candidate with a Master’s degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and proven experience in industrial management controlling (at least 7 years). A background in manufacturing and/or supply chain is essential. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and proficiency with IT software, including ERP systems (SAP is a plus) and Power BI.

 

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required, along with strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. We value proactivity, autonomy, and excellent organizational skills. The candidate should be curious, data-driven, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage priorities efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
